July 2025 – Las Vegas, NV

Army of the Tread has entered into active discussions with the office of U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto to explore opportunities for electrifying transportation along the Las Vegas resort corridor and at Harry Reid International Airport. The initiative aligns with both state and federal priorities to reduce transportation emissions and expand EV charging access in high-traffic areas.

The resort corridor is one of the most heavily visited destinations in the United States, making it a strategic focal point for deploying reliable, high-speed EV charging infrastructure. By partnering with key public stakeholders, Army of the Tread aims to develop solutions that support tourism, improve air quality, and strengthen Nevada’s clean energy leadership.

“Our vision is to make EV charging as seamless and accessible as possible for both visitors and residents,” said Ron Jones, Founder & CEO of Army of the Tread. “Working alongside Senator Cortez Masto’s office gives us the opportunity to align our projects with policies that directly benefit the state’s economy and environment.”

Earlier this year, Army of the Tread was invited to participate in the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) Roundtable, where state, local, and industry leaders convened to discuss Nevada’s evolving transportation landscape. The company’s inclusion reflects growing recognition of its role in advancing EV infrastructure across the region.

Army of the Tread’s current development plans include its flagship N. Tenaya hub in Las Vegas and additional high-volume corridor sites, each designed to meet the charging needs of both daily commuters and long-distance travelers.
